excellent location canal side welcome drink
i found the location excellent for exploring. the canal side location made access to many attractions easy. the staff offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which i appreciated. the lobby offered an eclectic style with coffee and snacks.

ideal location helpful staff dutch style
The location is ideal, within walking distance of major attractions. the staff were friendly and very helpful with all my questions. i had a room with an entrance right on the canal. It was decorated in classic dutch style.

central location clean rooms helpful staff
The location is near the central station. It made access to transportation very easy (especially early morning trains). The rooms were clean. The staff was helpful with directions.
There was no lift (and the stairs are quite steep).

Mixed Feelings About This Hotel
limited breakfast dirty wineglass
The breakfast was rather limited, especially considering the price. There wasn't much variety and the quality seemed average at best. I also found a dirty wine glass in the room, a detail that should have been caught by housekeeping. Cheap toilet paper was used. I expect more for a stay costing over 300 euros.
